This form details the MS SQL Login and Reporting SQL Login and the associated Passwords which are set as JiwaUser and JiwaReports when creating or upgrading a database.
A user logging into Jiwa uses OLEDB to connect to the database. When the password has been verified, the user is logged out and then back into Jiwa again using the SQL Login credentials. Where access for reporting purposes to various tables is required (e.g. General Ledger tables) the Reporting SQL Login can be used to restrict access as required.
